Dr Hala Elgmati

Hala’s surgical expertise spans all hair types—with specific distinction in Afro-textured hair restoration, long-hair/non-shaven procedures, and specialist facial hair transplants (beards, moustaches, and eyebrows). She is also widely recognised for her work in complex repair and revision procedures for patients who have experienced unsatisfactory outcomes at other clinics.

Hala combines surgical precision with careful aesthetic planning to achieve natural, patient-centred outcomes tailored to individual facial features, hair characteristics, and long-term hair regrowth goals. She performs scalp, facial, and body hair transplantation, as well as corrective and repair procedures.

Hala is experienced in multiple implantation techniques, including Direct Hair Implantation (DHI) and the use of implanter devices, with particular attention to graft handling, hairline design, and surgical detail. She has also built-up substantial expertise in non-surgical hair regrowth therapies and medications, which can be prescribed on a stand-alone basis or in combination with an FUE hair transplant.

Alongside her clinical work, Dr Elgmati has contributed to the development of clinical protocols and the training and mentorship of medical and nursing teams within hair restoration practices. Her broader medical background in hospital medicine and clinical research continues to inform her evidence-based and safety-focused approach to patient care.

Outside of clinical practice, she has a longstanding interest in aesthetic medicine, skin and scalp health, and the artistic aspects of facial and hair restoration.
